Last Saturday 31st of August saw the final leg of the 104km St Declan’s Way completed, Aglish to Ardmore.
Ballycurrane School was a tea stop for the walkers which was approximately half way, it afforded the walkers a much need rest, a chance to go to the toilet and have a quick cuppa.

Ballycurrane NS Parents Association keen to show off their hospitality rose to the challenge and organised the finger food with refreshments which proved a hit with the walkers, donation boxes were in place in the school and in excess of €900.00 was collected for the School.
Well done to all involved and we will see ye next year again
